Valentine activities for children that are simple can still be a lot of fun to create. This place mat is also useful.
This was a very simple crafting activity. My little one was able to complete all of it herself. This activity goes well with a set of valentine activities found with the
Valentine Tea Party.
When completing this activity, give your child a choice of paper colors for the place mat. This will help with color recognition. I would also recommend using a glue stick. Young children are able to use these without much help and they are considerably neater than regular craft glue. Also, letting them manipulate a glue stick will help target fine motor control necessary for writing.
Remember let your preschooler participate as much as possible. This helps them develop creativity and problem solving skills. Most of our project pictures are child produced so you have a better idea of what to expect.
