Cocoa




This fun winter poem is offers many new vocabulary words. This expanded vocabulary will help your preschooler develop new language skills.

Cocoa is a delicious treat.

It is yummy, dark and sweet.

With a marshmallow on the top,

I will drink every drop.



Teaching Tips



1. Drink cocoa then talk about cocoa. That it is a hot drink. What it taste like. It's color.

2. Talk about hot/cold. Find things that are cold.

3. Talk about new vocabulary: cocoa, delicious, treat, marshmallow
